  Dr. Christopher Olson, M.D.

  Medical Director

  Dr. Olson has been providing elite medical services in the western suburbs of Chicago for over 20 years. After developing and managing one of the busiest practices in DuPage County, he began to hear his patients complain of the issues caused by childbirth and aging. They were frustrated by the changes in their bodies and skin the no longer reflected the youth and vitality from within. This led to the creation of a different kind of Med Spa that delivers high-end customer service built on a strong medical foundation. Dr. Olson is a board certified obstetrician/gynecologist performing some of the most difficult minimally invasive surgical procedures in the area. His ten-provider practice delivers 1,000 babies a year and performs over 500 procedures. In recent years, Dr. Olson has spent additional time traveling the country teaching for a few select industries and educating colleagues on advances in gynecologic office-based procedures. He also serves as a clinical assistant professor for Loyola’s doctors in training (residents) to help them understand and incorporate these new technologies into their future practices. He earned his bachelor’s degree from Tulane University and he attended medical school at the University of Nebraska back in his hometown of Omaha. A surgical internship in Iowa prepared him for his residency in Chicago. He currently lives in Naperville with his wife, daughter, two dogs and an indignant cat. So why does a gynecologist go into the beauty business? “It’s a natural extension of what we do,” Dr. Olson said. “Patients look to us for guidance in an area of medicine that is filled with misinformation and questionable technology. Skin rejuvenation treatments can provide wonderful benefits, but they aren’t cheap. We carefully selected only those procedures that provide the best results. These procedures, along with our pharmaceutical grade cosmetics, can and will keep your skin and body looking younger and healthier. “We aren’t that unique, but we’re very different,” Dr. Olson stressed. “The high quality well-researched equipment employed at Blue Seas has been used throughout the world by credible medical facilities. We aren’t interested in offering the newest most expensive toys on the market without proven results. We are interested in using the best technologies to provide quality therapeutic results along with outstanding customer service.”

  Paula Overstreet

  Nurse Practitioner

  Paula is a native of Naperville, IL. She graduated Magna Cum Laude with Honors from Illinois State University with a Bachelor of Science in Biology and Minor in Chemistry. After two years working as a research assistant in cell physiology, Paula’s decided to continue her education in the medical field. She attended Vanderbilt University School of Nursing to pursue a Master’s Degree in Nursing and graduated in 1996 with a specialty in Women’s Health Paula is an original member of the Blue Seas Team and has multiple roles at the Med Spa. As a clinician, she provides medical clearance for new clients and performs aesthetic injections of Botox and fillers. She is certified on Laser, CoolSculpting, and Venus Freeze treatments. Paula enjoys furthering her knowledge by attending special trainings such as Advanced and Masters Classes for Injecting, conferences on Platelet Rich Plasma for aesthetics, and CoolSculpt University. As an aesthetic clinician, Paula stresses care of self and self-esteem through treatments to protect, enhance, and correct. She finds that, although men approach these differently from women, these are equally important for everyone. Individualized care and education are the core of her practice.

  Erin Peters

  Nurse Practitioner

  After graduating with her Bachelor of Science in Nursing Erin began her career as an Emergency Room nurse where she has continued to work for the past five years. While working in emergency medicine Erin went back to school to become a Nurse Practitioner. She recently graduated and is now a certified Nurse Practitioner. Erin has always had an interest in the field of aesthetics and the science of skin care, and went back to school with the intention of working in aesthetics. Having been fortunate enough to have a clinical rotation for her Nurse Practitioner residency with Blue Seas Med Spa over the summer, she was able to receive extensive training from Paula in the art of injectable cosmetic medicine. Since then she has continued her education in aesthetic medicine, most recently attending the Aesthetic Extenders Symposium in Miami. Her outgoing personality and nurturing demeanor are key factors in Erin’s ability to develop long-term relationships with clients, and she is always striving to have a positive impact on every person she treats. Erin is looking forward to continuing education on laser treatments, Cool Sculpting, and skin rejuvenation.

  Jessica Czarnowski

  Medical Aesthetician

  Jessica graduated at Naperville Skin Institute in 2011 as a certified Aesthetician. Jessica worked as an Aesthetician at Frank Gironda Salon & Spa for 3 years. She received a Medical Aesthetics certification from Tru University in Chicago, where Jessica learned lasers, dermaplaning, and other extensive skin care treatments. Even though she has been working in the Salon and Spa industry, Jessica has always had a true passion for the medical side of Aesthetics. She loves connecting with patients and has always loved taking care of others and helping people when they need it the most. Jessica is excited for the opportunity to work under a incredibly talented and well respected group of people, and continue to learn more treatments within the Aesthetics industry. On her off time she also works at a Float Club called Anicca Float Club. Its a Deprivation Tank Center. She loves being able to help people distress and feel amazing! She also loves being able to give someone a treatment and actually see the results it gives them. Nothing is more gratifying than to actually help someone with something that is truly bothering them.
